My investigation of the UN SDGs has influenced me to change a lot of my actions and thoughts. The goal that has inspired me to change my actions is goal 15. Goal 15 is life on land.I have started to use up all of my space in my notebooks when I take notes. Also, not wasting paper. Not using as much paper so it will last longer and so we don’t have to waste it when we don’t use all of it. I have been trying to use all paper. Paper towels, napkins, pencils, are all made of paper. Of trees. Trees that provided us oxygen. The oxygen we need. Think about it. We are taking away our own air. Air that we need. Yet we don’t realize it. I would like to try to help as much as I can to prevent deforestation. Unlike some people I care about the trees. The trees and vegetation that provided us air that we need to breathe. The air that earth has provided us. The air everyone needs. We are taking away the air of the only inhabitable planet that we know of. But yet people don’t care. People don’t realize how bad it is. How important vegetation is. We need it. I think I have somewhat of an influence on the world. But, you never know. One person can make a big difference. I hope that people care as much as I do and want this problem to be solved.
